Just a quick update on Mr. Halloween. Sorry to report, he made it through another year without being painted. He hasn't been packed away just yet, but I don't have high hopes. Unless Ginny decides to take it upon herself to paint him, he's destined to sit in the basement another year as his plain old self.
So on to the big question...and I know, it's nothing earth-shattering. But, the new Harry Potter movie comes out soon. And my "Harry" is beside himself with anticipation. Between Halloween and the new movie coming out, he's been wearing the robe a LOT lately, doing spells with his homemade "wand", and debating which is more likely to happen in real life... Harry Potter or Fablehaven. (It's a toss-up really. A world of witches, wizards and magic, or a world of fairies, satyrs and giant cows. In theory, either one COULD actually happen.) Anyway, theaters are showing the movie at midnight on Nov. 18. Which happens to be a Thursday night (well really Friday morning) but nonetheless, it's a SCHOOL NIGHT! What to do, what to do? Harry informed me that the librarian at school was taking HER daughter to see the midnight showing. I countered with the fact that librarian's daughter is older than Harry. (Only by one year, but he has no clue!) Of course Harry had the perfect comeback for that one..."Duh Mom, that's even worse. She probably has more homework than me. So SHE should stay home." What a little manipulator!
So what do you think...midnight show? Make him wait?
Where's the Dad? Bet you could come up with a good description for him - Workaholic???
