3 Expressions I Can't Stand

I try not to complain too much on my blog, but here are a few currently popular expressions that really annoy me. (In case you were wondering.)

1. "I Know, Right?" Somehow, my kids have picked this one up and use it frequently. Exactly WHAT do they know? And what is "right" about it?

2. "That's Random" People seem to use "random" as a replacement for "weird" or "strange". Which it's not.  Look it up.

3. "Really?" This is a little harder to explain on a blog post, because what bugs me about it most is usually the accompanying tone of voice. Like when Ginny wanted to listen to her "George and Martha" book on CD in the car yesterday and Harry said "Really?!" as if I were subjecting him to some kind of evil torture device.

There you go. Have a good weekend! Really!

  1. Lol! Those are too funny! I think I am guilty of using the second one, and not thinking about it! I am now making an effort to not use it around you! ;)

  2. You can still say it around me, but only if you're using it correctly! You know, right? :) Lol. I crack myself up!
