I've been busy with Christmas decorations at my house. Here's the newest addition to my wreath collection:
It started out as a wreath that my husband's grandma made for us years ago...a little out of date now...so I stripped it down to the straw wreath form underneath. Then I just wrapped the wreath with some of the red polka dotted ribbon I scored at the thrift store, put a bow and glittery pine cone on. The silver "NOEL" ornament is hanging from my ugly wreath hanger (really need a better one!). That ornament never hung just right on our tree, so I think this is a good place for it!
Very cute! Much better than the old one!;) I don't know if it is the angle of the picture, but did you you try wrapping the noel ornament around the hook twice? If you made it shorter it wouldn't get lost behind the bow. Just an idea, like I said it might just be the picture.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's a strange ornament. Its really heavy & doesn't hang straight because of where the hole is. I might just need a new string for it - then I could choose my own length.
